5 Star service reaches Atchison

Nearly 30 years after moving away from Atchison, KS, Carolyn Griffiths has returned to her hometown with a simple business goal: Keep Atchison clean and green. Griffith, owner of 5 Star Custom Cleaning, recently joined the Chamber after expanding her business to include Atchison. And she couldn’t be happier.

“These are my roots,” she said, “and I’ll share with you from experience, there’s no better place to live than right here.”

5 Star Custom Cleaning, which currently serves the Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri areas, is a professional custom cleaning service with a staff fully trained to meet the highest standards of quality and performance. “It’s hard to believe that most of the products we grew up with are so bad for your health,” Griffiths said. “Most people still don’t realize that the standard household products they’re used to contain harmful or toxic chemicals that last long after their use.”

Those chemicals are absorbed through the skin and can lower the function of the immune system, which causes illness. There’s also more far- reaching benefit to using these green products.
